The ANZSCTS Cardiac Surgery Database was established in 2001 and is a clinical quality registry (CQR) that collects data on the demographics, treatment, and outcomes of patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery at contributing sites in Australia and New Zealand. The overarching aim of the Database is to maintain the provision of a high standard of care for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
