The Copyright Agency licenses the reproduction of works owned by its members (generally authors, journalists, publishers, and visual artists) and members of overseas affiliated reproduction rights organisations.
Eastern Health holds a limited commercial Copyright Licence with the Copyright Agency.
The Copyright Agency licence enables up to 500 Eastern Health internal licensed users to copy, store and distribute copies of third party copyright material.

Within the terms of the Copyright Agency licence, Eastern Health licensed users can copy and share third party content within the organisation including journal articles, research papers, books, conference papers and online resources to the extent given below.

Supply by Eastern Health licensed users of third party material to users external to Eastern Health is permitted only in the following instances:
Content supplied externally must be prominently marked or otherwise accompanied by a notice which states, as a minimum: "Licensed by Copyright Agency. You must not copy this work without permission."
Content must also retain metadata and be reproduced without any changes.
