  • subject guides, research databases, print books and e-books,
  • point-of-care tools and apps,
  • finding full-text PDFs quickly and easily.

This library orientation session is held monthly and online via Teams. It is open to all Eastern Health staff and placement students.

Database and literature searching

Understanding where and how to search for literature is a critical part of evidence-based medicine and clinical research. Join us for a live, online webinar on literature searching to learn how you can quickly and effectively find high quality information. 

This session includes:

  • Formulating a research question & using PICO
  • Search demonstration
  • Literature searching tips and tricks

This session is held monthly and online via Teams. It is open to all Eastern Health staff and placement students.

EndNote

EndNote is a powerful reference management tool that can help you with storing and managing your references and citing papers while you write. This session includes a demonstration of the following:

  • Importing references from library databases to EndNote
  • Organising, sharing and backing up your references
  • Managing PDFs
  • How to use EndNote's Cite While You Write

Access to EndNote is not provided with this training. Please arrange your own access to EndNote if required.
