Registration

For most Eastern Health Library services, registration is required by staff and students. 

 

 

 

Eastern Health Library Registration

To borrow materials from the Eastern Health Library Service, EH staff and students must register.
  • You can borrow 6 items at a time.
  • Borrowing period is 4 weeks.
  • You can renew books once.
  • You can't borrow if you have overdue items.
  • You must pay for lost or damaged items that you borrow.
  • We may charge an admin fee for lost, damaged or unreturned items.
  • We need your employee number OR student number, name, email and a contact number when you register.
  • EHLS has agreements in place with universities to ensure that overdue EHLS library materials on loan to students are returned.

Statewide Library Service for Victorian Mental Health Staff

Eastern Health Mental Health staff are eligible for membership of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Health Sciences Library (incorporating the Victorian Mental Health Library).

The RMH Health Science Library receives recurrent funding from the Department of Human Services to supply a statewide library service for the purpose of supporting mental health staff employed across a wide range of positions.

Eastern Health Mental Health staff may direct the following requests to the RMH Health Sciences Library:
